Where is hope?
I’ve gone on a journey,
On an unending road.
Where the mood is lonely
And the path seem scary
With blurry lines, yet I go.
Where is hope? You ask again
I’ve gone to a land unknown
Where night never falls,
And today bears the mantle.
I’ve gone to a distant land
Where wisdom reigns supreme
And knowledge is royal.
Where is hope? You question still.
They will come for me, I answer.
When their body craves renewal
When their eyes seeks re-awakening.
They will search for me, I say.
When their souls thirst for light.
And their spirit yearns for a lifting,
With their mind begging for redemption.
They shall seek me, I tell you
When their hearts seeks truth
And their being longs for healing.
They shall search for me in anguish,
When all they ever live for is me.
Where is hope? You ask again.
I am long gone. Find me.
