Award we sought to gain
But truth you fight to sow
And when your work is done
We reap your labor's pain
God your soul has shone
his truth your tongue has sworn
When in prayer your hands are clasped
Your body for glory will be no vain
God's love you shine the light
As his Angels guard your path
And his bossom your rest you've found
A crown of good we give this saint
Yeah though we wail in grieve
Below our heads are bowed
Amidst this piercing plight
A hope in faith we've found
I hope from your heavenly chair,
ReplyDeleteYou hear that,
Dearly beloved, Father Chika.
It is the voice of our famous Adaeze,
Who has spun these words of praise
To magnify God's love for your work
When in His vineyard you worked.
Yet, while in His presence you serve
Your earthly work still shines
Among the needy you touched.
Peace, perfect peace, we want one day
When we reach where you are today.
